Our March 29 workshop had to be suddenly canceled the morning of the workshop for medical reasons. To all the registered participants reading this: thank you for you patience! We’re so sorry for the inconvenience. We selected a new workshop date and time and are opening up the sign-up again for anyone interested.
Join our studioand Monty with Open Image Studio for a 2-hr beginners photography workshop on Saturday, May 5, 2012. This is for non-professionals looking to learn the ins-and-outs of their DSLR and how to get the best image from it. We’ve changed up the format quite a bit from last year to include more shooting and demo time. During the workshop, you will be hearing from Monty and I about the how-to’s of shooting technique and camera function using class time to practice and discuss your shots, we’ll send take-home information on how to go from on-camera, to computer (editing and archiving), to print and share photos in an image-safe, organized way. There will be a short demo on editing basics and ample time for photography Q&A.
Who: This class is for anyone with a very basic understanding of their DSLR interested in learning how to take better photos. Last year, we opened the class to 40 people and filled every seat. Much of the feedback we received was a desire to have a smaller class size so we have decided to limit the class to no more than 20 people this time.

Where: Lauryn Byrdy Photography studio at 2134 Arlington Ave, Upper Arlington, OH 43221, corner of Guilford and Arlington Ave.

Bring: your digital SLR, at least one lens and any equipment you have related to the camera that you might have questions about.
