Friday Tips & Trends: Recycled DIY Photo Journal

Hi everyone! It’s Melissa, in Brand and Marketing, here at LBP with your Friday Tip for the week. This week’s “tip” is more of a project, but that’s ok because we knew you’d love it so here it is! We are big believers in activities and products that are good for our planet. With Earth Day just around the corner on Sunday, I have a tutorial for you today to try over the weekend! Repurpose materials you already have and make something creative that you’ll love and use often.

You’ll need:

  • Two Photographs printed at 4×6 or larger
  • 50-75 notecards or sheets of paper (same size as your photos)
  • White glue (Elmer’s Glue)
  • A paint brush
  • A clothespins or binder clip
  • A small sheet of construction paper or craft paper (for the spine)
  • Wax paper

Step 1: Gather your paper, align the photos on top, and secure it with your clothespin or clip.

Step 2: Using your brush, paint glue on the side of your choice where the “binding” will be. LET DRY!

Side note: Your pet will love this.

Step 3: Once the glue is dry, paint the craft or construction paper like so, and place it on the side you chose for binding. Now let this dry.

Enjoy your new photo journal!
